Cedars-Sinai Advanced Sciences Pavilion
The Cedars-Sinai Advanced Health Sciences Pavilion features two virtual skylights in their CT imaging suites, including an 8’ X 14’ Luminous SkyCeiling. The virtual skylight’s ample width and length creates a palpable expansiveness that puts patients at ease. At the same time, the open sky supports staff wellness by providing a meaningful perceived connection to nature.
Designed by HOK Architects, the pavilion combines world-class patient care, clinical offices, physician education, and training and research in an 11-story building.
The Cedars-Sinai pavilion is “designed to bridge the gap between discovery and patient care by placing the research labs near clinical settings so physician-scientists can bring scientific breakthroughs to their patients with maximum safety and speed,” notes HOK.
