Aiming to provide added value to their technical equipment offer, as well as help to improve the experience for patients’ undergoing radiotherapy treatments, Aesores Electrónicos Especialiazados (AEESA), an Elekta authorized distributor, provided and installed a Sky Factory Luminous SkyCeiling and Luminous Virtual Windows in the linear accelerator suite at the new ISSSTE* facility, Hospital de Alta Especialidad – Centenario de la Revolución Mexicana, in Emiliano Zapata, Morelos State, Mexico.
The triple Luminous Virtual Window at the end of the access corridor creates an authentic experience of a window to nature, expanding the hall’s confining dimensions with a softly colored view into distant space, contrasting convincingly with the neutral design of the facility.
The split Luminous SkyCeiling over the linac provides a wide view of a peaceful cloud-filled sky that helps patients to relax, as well as relieve the stress and anxiety sometimes associated with the radiology experience.
