Renown Health is northern Nevada’s healthcare leader and Reno’s only locally owned, not-for-profit health system. Working with leading interior designer, Marie Wikoff, Renown incorporated Sky Factory’s award-winning illusions of nature as an alluring portal to open skies.
Nature’s blues skies, real or simulated as an architectural opening, fosters an automatic “Relaxation Response” -- a welcome sight for sore eyes after the immersive experience of giving birth. The deep blue hue characteristic of low humidity, high altitude skies invite the observer to experience an organic and profoundly soothing change of scale.
