Gila C. Dorostkar, DDS, prides herself on the skillful care her young patients receive at her state-of-the-art clinic in Greenbrae, California. Her staff is dedicated to making each patient's dental experience as pleasant as possible.
Creating a fresh and light environment is an important part of the dental experience. Gila's facility renovation, completed in summer of 2010, achieved "Outstanding" awards from the American Dental Association for both design and environmental considerations. Her office is the first private pediatric dentistry facility in the country to receive LEED certification.
Among many energy saving and sustainable design elements, the office uses natural daylight to illuminate the space. But, patients don't get much of a view or connection to nature when they are looking at the ceiling. Luminous SkyCeilings, virtual skylights, provide energy-efficient views to realistic illuminated skyscapes.
