London Bridge Pediatric Dentistry
London Pediatric Dentistry in Virginia Beach, VA, was looking for a design feature that would add the finishing touch to their maritime office theme. With a large ocean mural with dolphins on one end, the practice sought to recreate the expansive feeling of being by the sea, surrounded by open blue skies.
The solution came in the shape of six Luminous SkyCeilings separated by one vertical and two horizontal mullions. Each simulated portal to open sky featured a 6’ X 6’ virtual skylight that when taken together covered the majority of the work space.
The skylights are carefully calibrated to reproduce the soft hues and rich saturation of real skies, creating a multisensory experience of being on a terrace floor. Little patients agree that open air dentistry sure makes for great smiles.
