Renaissance Imaging Center's reception area is dramatically enhanced by the custom Luminous SkyCeiling that greets visitors. A stunning panorama sky-image composition of deep blue sky and Hawthorne blossom-covered branches is divided into five panels installed in the angled ceiling over the reception counter. Dividing the entire composition, and creating gaps between the sections, improves the illusion of depth and the overall realism of the installation.
Sky Factory's biophilic illusions of nature trigger the same kinds of beneficial relaxation responses as real views to nature. Relaxed patients tend to move less during imaging procedures and experience less claustrophobia.
