S. Maria della Scaletta is a medium-sized hospital in the northern Italian town of Imola. Known for its emergency services, the hospital received funding for an advanced surgery in 2006. Every detail of the facility was carefully designed and integrated to assure maximum patient safety and surgical effectiveness. The Luminous SkyCeiling was added to promote staff comfort in the intense surgical environment.
