With nearly 1,800 beds, and 12,500 employees, the Malmö University Hospital is the third largest hospital in Sweden. A new radiotherapy suite features a Varian Medical Systems linear accelerator for treatment of cancer tumors, and a Sky Factory Luminous SkyCeiling as a biophilic element to make patients more comfortable.
Realistic nature murals have been shown to reduce stress and calm patients in healthcare environments.
